Delete your Marlow account

Delete inside the app
If you have Marlow installed, open the app, go to Settings, then Account, and tap Delete account. This is the fastest way and confirms your identity automatically.
Request deletion by email
If you no longer have the app installed, email marlow@madebyjj.com from the address on your Marlow account with the subject line "Delete my account". We will confirm the request, complete the deletion, and reply within 30 days.
What gets deleted
Your adult account, sign-in credentials, profile name and avatar, push tokens, in-app preferences, and care-diary memberships are removed. Your owner subscription entitlement is removed from Marlow; recurring billing managed by Apple or Google must be cancelled in the App Store or Play Store.
What is retained, and why
Care-diary entries you logged for a baby (bottles, naps, diapers, notes) are kept on the baby's history so the remaining authorized adults — parents and other invited helpers — still have a complete record. Your name on those entries is anonymized. Aggregated, non-identifying records may be kept for security, fraud prevention, and required tax or accounting purposes for up to 7 years, as permitted by law.
Owner accounts with active care diaries
If you own a care diary with other adults invited, deletion will close that care diary and remove access for invited helpers and parents. The in-app flow asks you to confirm this; an email request will receive a reply asking you to confirm before we proceed.
Timing
In-app deletion is immediate. Email-initiated deletions are completed within 30 days of verification. Backups containing deleted data are overwritten on a rolling 90-day cycle.
